Meet Our Receptionists

Wendy has been with the clinic since January 1992. She has a small farm outside of Glide, with four dogs, four horses, five cats, six goats, three geese, and two chickens. Aside from working at the clinic, Wendy gives riding instruction and trains horses. She enjoys all aspects of family and farm life.

Maressa is a native Californian who, after living as far south as Mission Viejo and as far north as Petaluma and everywhere inbetween, decided to relocate with her family to Oregon in the fall of 2005. Her love of animals is what led her to Companion Animal Clinic in September 2011. When she is not working, she is busy taking care of her horse Cali, her special needs cat Stevie, the family dog Jake, their little lovebird Birdie, and the other spoiled rotten cats that makeup their household. Her favorite things include traveling, reading, watching films, and cheering on her Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants.

Tami recently joined our staff in September 2012. She has two boxers, Montana and Zeke and 1 cat named Taz. She spends her time raising her son and going hunting, fishing, camping, riding four-wheelers and shopping! In her spare time, Tami helps her husband of 13 years with his business Day or Night Electric and Construction.

Sue came on board at the clinic in April 2015. She lives with her husband and four pets. Danner and Hope are the family's Great Danes, and share the home with Siamese cats Sushi and Wasabi. She has two sons in Colorado. Sue enjoys hiking, camping and fishing with her family. They like returning for recreation to Colorado, where they lived for a time. Sue grew up in Roseburg and followed her serviceman husband all over the world. She says she's happy to be back home in Douglas County.
